Well, the past couple of months have been a little crazy with surprise issues cropping up. I was following a car on the highway with stuff on top that fell off right in front of me. There were cars on each side, so I had no choice but to run over the debris, which hurt my poor car. It’s been in the shop getting fixed for the past month and a half. Also, our fifteen-year-old fridge went out. Lost a bunch of frozen stuff, but thankfully not all. Life, amiright?

There’s good news on the writing front! I’ve finally gotten a good grip on a character that has given me a lot of trouble over the years. And since she’s a MC, that’s sorta important! I’m making excellent progress on Genesis Mage. I’ve made a lot of necessary changes that are fixing some really big structural issues. And in the process, I’ve learned a little more about the other MC, too, which I didn’t even know I needed to know!

As to my Witches’ War series, I’m going to work with the cover designer soon, and my critique partner is diligently reading over the Crystalline Shadow for me! It’s taken some time, because RL hit him hard, too, and I’m gratefully relieved report that his RL issues are getting better, too! I’m happy to say that things worked out well.

So, things progress! Yes, I’ve had a few days or weeks where I’ve stalled out for various reasons, including allergies that have seriously kicked my butt this season already. But for the most part, I’m writing and/or editing, and I’m VERY pleased with the progress being made!

Ta-ta for now!
