Still working on the Tame Ones, but I’m happy to say, I’ve got it sorted out! I’ve got every chapter laid out where I want it, set in the POV I need it to be in, and I’ve only got about ten chapters to either write or adjust. Mostly the latter. I’ve also reposted the current version of chapters 1-14 on Booksie, along with covers, though it seems I can’t get the chapter number posted on some of them.

I’m pleased with my progress, and it’s my goal to have the Tame Ones fully written by the end of June, and hopefully fully edited, too. I really want to send off to an editor by the end of the month (researching an editor is ALSO a necessary goal, obviously.) Currently, it’s sitting at 96k, which is a great sign. I still have chapters to write, but I also have a ton of editing to do, which includes addressing any white-room syndrome (i.e., more words, because I have to add description) and I have to adjust for continuity, which can also add a few words. So this is great news for my eventual word count.

Still researching which publishing business I want to court. I’ve narrowed it down to Bookbaby, possibly IngramSpark, or maybe KDP. I also have to look into cover design and interior formatting. Those could be done by Bookbaby and others, but I’m not ruling out individuals or small designers. I’m also going to be seeing someone about my LLC, and getting my ‘business’ side up and running. Still waiting for my official logo, but what I’ve seen of the initial versions has me squeeing! Oh yeah. And my business name. Gotta figure that out, too!

Ta ta, and have a whimsical day!
